We offer caring Christ-centered infant and toddler programs in separate infant or toddler classrooms starting at age 6 weeks through age 2. Each classroom has a maximum class size of 12 with a 1:3 adult/child ratio in order to provide the very best for our youngest children. We are open year-round and are closed only on the major holidays.
All of our staff are committed Christian people with a heart for children. Each classroom has a lead teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education. All staff are carefully screened and trained to provide excellence in education in a nurturing environment.
We use Creative Curriculum in all of our Early Childhood Classrooms. The curriculum encourages one on one child directed interaction and play that is supported by caring teachers. We provide daily Jesus Time, focusing on a different Bible account each week that is appropriate for very young children. The curriculum is designed with short and long-range goals in mind for your child’s learning. We use the GOLD Assessment from Creative Curriculum and share with you about your child’s progress.
Babies receive highly personal care from a primary caregiver. The curriculum in the infant room is tailored to the unique individual care for each child. Special activities are planned for children according to their age and development that includes Jesus time, stories, sensory activities, small and large motor experiences, and outdoor time. Each child is provided with their own crib. Children can join the infant room at 6 weeks of age. Children have the same caregivers each day and are assigned to a primary caregiver.
Children can join this classroom at about 12 months. Toddlers still receive highly personal care and nurture from their primary caregiver and also enjoy expanded daily age-appropriate activities in art, literacy, music, science, gym, outdoor play and Jesus time. Children nap on cots in the Toddler Room. A morning snack, hot lunch and afternoon snack are included.
