Joining Jesus on His Mission: A 10-week congregation wide small group “study-discussion-equipping” process to learn how to engage the world more effectively in our everyday life. ALL adults at Trinity are encouraged to participate in this as their personal “next step” in faith. Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 beginning Oct. 1 or form your own group that meets at another time. Free copies of the book “Joining Jesus” will be given to all households in September. Saturday Night Worship begins on Saturday Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. and meets from September through May.
Baptism preparation classes will be held on Thursdays, Oct. 5 and 12 from 7-8 p.m. The class is comfortable and conversational in nature and is intended for parents (or expectant parents) who are interested in having their child baptized. We discuss the meaning and importance of baptism, the role of parents and godparents/sponsors; how to schedule a baptism and more. The class is held approximately every 6 weeks. 252 “Not your ordinary Sunday School” kicks off Sept. 10 for kindergarteners through 5 graders! 252 meets each week from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in the school foyer/Early Childhood Center. 252 (from Luke 2:52) is a way for you to give your child an amazing experience where they will learn how to put their faith into action and have the opportunity to build relationships with other children and positive, loving adults. XP3—Sunday Morning for Middle School begins on Sept. 10 for students in grades 6 – 8. Students meet for fun, a time of teaching, and for small group conversation with an adult leader at 9:30 a.m. in the Youth Lounge. Contact Pastor Brian at or 586-463-2921 for information.

High Schoolers: Students meets each Sunday evening at 5 p.m. at Pastor Brian’s house beginning Sept. 10. Students share a meal, connect with one another, and discuss the challenges of living as followers of Jesus. Contact Pastor Brian at or 586-463-2921 for more information.
First Bible Faith Stepping Stone begins on Sunday, Sept.17 from 4-5 p.m. in the Community Center. It is for all 1st and 2nd graders and their parents. Families learn to use the Bible together in order to grow in faith and grow together as a family. For more information, contact Jeremy Ashley at or 585-463-8803.
Life With Jesus begins on Monday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Church Lounge and is for those interested in exploring the Christian faith and/or interested in church membership. LWJ meets for 12 weeks. Contact Sue von Fange at or 586-463-2921 ext. 103 for more information.

LYS (Living Your Strengths) begins on Oct. 4 from 7-8:30 p.m. and meets for seven weeks in Meeting Room 1. You are at your best when you do what you naturally do best. This 7-week journey will help you uncover and affirm your areas of greatest talent. They’re evident in and impact all your relationships and all you do. Financial Peace University begins on Thursday, Sept. 21 from 7-8:30 p.m. for nine weeks. Financial Peace is a Dave Ramsey video-based class that seeks to help people get out of debt, meet their financial goals, and learn to live more generous lives. MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) begins on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 9 a.m. in the Church Lounge. Meetings continue the first and third Wednesday of the month. Childcare is provided MOPS is intended for moms with infants through kindergarten. For information, contact Andrea Neaton at or Clare Brown at

Women’s League begins on Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. in the Church Lounge. The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month, September-May. Women’s League combines opportunities for women to form and deepen relationships as well as supporting mission work. Women’s League is open to all women of the congregation. Fellowship with Seniors begins on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at noon in the Community Center and meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. For more information, contact Ruth Schalk at 586-773-8588.
LifeTree Café meets on Sunday, Sept. 10 and meets each week from 7 to 8 p.m. at O’Halloran’s Public house, 112 Macomb Place, Mt. Clemens (across from Anton Art Center.) Lifetree is a conversational outreach ministry. Each week is a different topic. Questions are raised. Faith is shared. Strangers become friends. Contact Pam at 586 -790-2004 or for more information.
Voices in Praise begins on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Room and meets each week. Voices in Praise is our adult choir that sings twice a month at our 8 a.m. worship and at various times of the year for special festivals. Contact Paul Finazzo at or 586-463-2921 for information.
Children’s Choir will continue this fall. Students in grade 4 through 8 are invited to join the Children’s Choir and sing occasionally during our worship service. Fall choir is coming. Trinity Purls is a knitting/ crochet group that provides “prayer shawls” for pastoral ministry. This is also a great time for fellowship and creating your own handcrafted creations. The group meets Thursdays at 7 p.m. in the Church Lounge. For information, contact Joan Lavey at 586-791-5016.
Trinity Quilters for Lutheran World Relief complete quilt tops, pillowcase dresses and britches for those in impoverished countries around the world. The group meets Sept. 20 at 9:30 a.m. and continues to meet the third Tuesday of every month in the Community Center.
