Trinity's seventh and eighth grade choir had an opportunity to participate in a special workshop with guest conductor Dr. Jonathan Busarow, artistic director of the Fort Wayne Children's Choirs.
Five other Lutheran grade schools, along with Trinity, meet at St. John, Fraser on Friday, Oct. 27 for this interactive experience. The schools worked on three musicaa pieces together during the day with Dr. Busarow and then they performed them together at a concert in the evening. Each choir performed a piece of their own and the joined the other schools to sing the combined pieces.
"This was such a great experience for the choir members. They had a lot of fun singing together, and it was very inspiriting to hear so many kids sing together in praise to God," said Elizabeth Davis, choir director of the fifth through eighth grade choirs at Trinity.
