Who says science activities can't be Christmas themed? They sure can! Jamie McMahon illustrated this with some Christmas science fun before the kids went on the holiday break last week.
McMahon said her students used gumdrops and toothpicks to contruct the tallest and most stable Christmas tree.
The students took what they learned in science and math classes and applied it to constructing the Christmas tree, this included knowing shapes and gravity and balance. Take a look at the pictures from their Christmas STEM activity.
