DIRECT YOUR CHOICE DOLLARS—It’s time to direct your Choice Dollars. Thrivent members’ Choice Dollars earned Trinity $12,411. Members’ 2022 Choice Dollars need to find a home before March 31. Designate them to Trinity Lutheran Church, School and ECC. There are two ways two for directing Choice Dollars. Go to Thrivent.com/thriventchoice or call 800-847-4836 and say "Thrivent Choice" at the prompt. Please take a few minutes and designate Trinity. Every little bit helps.

HELP DECORATE THE CHURCH FOR EASTER—Easter flower sales begin this weekend and run through Sunday, March 19. Single lilies are $12, mums are $13 and hydrangeas as $20. Flower sales can be made at the self-serve booth in the church foyer. For more information, contact Kathy Conrad at 586-914-4512.

LENTEN PREACHING SERIES—Our Lent preaching series is “A demon, a Pharisee, a Samaritan Woman, a blind man and a dead guy walk into  . . . .Jesus.”

MIDWEEK WORSHIP—Each Wednesday throughout Lent, Trinity hosts a midweek, midday devotion at noon the Chapel.

BAPTISM CLASSES—If you are interested in baptism at Trinity, Pastor Jeremy has scheduled several virtual baptism class—April 13, June 19, Aug. 7 all at 6:30 p.m. We talk about what baptism is, how we do it, why we do it, our role, your role and how this all plays out in the “real life” of your home. E3 UPDATE—If you attend Pastor Gary’s Wednesday evening course, he will be switching topics to Glorify the Lord. Pastor Ken is still working through Ephesians with his group. But it’s never too late to join in! E3 is our Wednesday evening gathering and activities for all ages. Free pizza is served at 6 p.m. followed by the meet ups at 6:30 p.m. We have two pastor-led Bible studies, senior high and junior high youth groups, a spot for preteens, a class for preschool through grade 3 and a nursery for babies. >ENGAGE GOD’S PEOPLE

WOMEN’S LEAGUE MEETS TUESDAY—Women’s League Meeting Tuesday, March 21 at 6 p.m., Church Lounge. The meeting will being with a potluck, followed with a presentation by Kim and Keith Waller on “Hope for Haiti.” We’ll learn about plans for WL to see the movie “The Jesus Revolution” and attend a concert by the Detroit Lutheran Singers at St. John Fraser. PANCAKE BREAKFAST RETURNS— Kiwanis and Boy Scout Troop 157 invite you to the 28th annual Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast, April 2, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the gym. Pancakes, eggs, sausage. Adults are $10 and children under 12 are $6.

MEIJER SIMPLY GIVE IS BACK!—Trinity’s Food Pantry is getting a helping hand from Meijer! Through the Meijer Simply Give program, we can get a little help from you and Meijer. From April 2-July 1, purchase the specially-marked Simply Give donations cards from the check-out lines at the store on Groesbeck and those gift cards will be given to Trinity’s Food Pantry, to help us purchase food and other eligible items. In addition, Meijer will match the gifts donated to Trinity. Trinity’s Double Day is Saturday, June 17. On those days, Meijer doubles their donation for each card. On that day, for every $10 Simply Give card purchased on these dates, Meijer provides an additional contribution of $20, bringing the total to $30 for a single customer purchase. SUMMER CAMP VOLUNTEER COUNSELORS WANTED—If you know a 6th-12th grade student looking to work with kids, our summer camp has openings for Volunteer Counselors. The VCs assist the cabin leaders. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Those interested must attend a one-hour mandatory orientation and training sessions on Sunday, March 19 at 12:15 p.m. or Tuesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. in the Youth Lounge. DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE—Girls, grab your dads for the return of Trinity’s Daddy Daughter Dance on Sunday, April 16, 6-9 p.m. at the Italian American Cultural Society Banquet Center. Tickets are $30. Tickets are available from the school office and will be on sale in the foyer on March 26 and April 2.

COLLEGE STUDENTS—Are you or do you have a student in college? We want to connect with them! We miss our college students, especially when they move away for school. As a way to engage with them throughout the school year, we are collecting college contact information.
