HELP DECORATE THE CHURCH FOR EASTER—Easter flower sales begin this weekend and run through Sunday, March 19. Single lilies are $12, moms are $13 and hydrangeas as $20. Flower sales can be made at the self-serve booth in the church foyer. For more information, contact Kathy Conrad at 586-914-4512.

SAVE THE DATE—FIRST COMMUNION CLASS—Our First Communion Faith Stepping Stone begins on Tuesday, March 14 and runs March 21 and 28 in the Community Center. This stepping stone is designed for fifth graders and their parents. It will prepare your student for receiving the Lord’s Supper. Students are eligible to participate in the Lord's Supper on March 30, which is Maundy Thursday. At least one parent must attend with your student. Please RSVP at Trinityct.org/firstcommunion. SUMMER CAMP VOLUNTEER COUNSELORS WANTED—If you know a 6th-12th grade student looking to work with kids, our summer camp has openings for Volunteer Counselors. The VCs assist the cabin leaders. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Those interested must attend a one-hour mandatory orientation and training sessions on Sunday, March 19 at 12:15 p.m. or Tuesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. in the Youth Lounge. LENTEN PREACHING SERIES—Our Lent preaching series, which begins on Feb. 25/26, is “A demon, a Pharisee, a Samaritan Woman, a blind man and a dead guy walk into a bar. . . . .Jesus.”

MIDWEEK WORSHIP—Each Wednesday throughout Lent, Trinity hosts a midweek, midday devotion at noon the Chapel.

CROSSTALK AUDIO DEVOTIONS will be available during the season of Lent. These 5 minute devotions are sent directly into your email inbox each day beginning Feb. 22. BAPTISM CLASSES—If you are interested in baptism at Trinity, Pastor Jeremy has scheduled several virtual baptism class—May 2, June 19, Aug. 7 all at 6:30 p.m. We talk about what baptism is, how we do it, why we do it, our role, your role and how this all plays out in the “real life” of your home. E3 CONTINUES THROUGH LENT—E3, our Wednesday evening gathering and activities for all ages, continues throughout the spring! Free pizza is served at 6 p.m. followed by the meet ups at 6:30 p.m. There is something for everyone in the family. We have two pastor-led Bible studies, senior high and junior high youth groups, a spot for preteens, a class for preschool through grade 3 and a nursery for babies. GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER—Trinity presents, Getting Your House in Order, a workshop designed to help you prepare for all of the necessary “earthly” things you need to do before you see Jesus face to face in glory. The topics include:

  • Advance Directives and Living Wills
  • Planning for Financial Success and Succession
  • Wills, Trusts, and other Probate items
  • Funeral Planning without Stress and emotion
  • Intentional gift giving

The event will feature advice from Pastor Gary, Parish Nurse Lisa Riviera, Dave Collins from Thrivent, Ray Gierach, a lawyer specializing in elder law, will and trusts, and Julie Burgess from the LCMS Foundation. Join them as they equip you will the tools and information you need for “Getting Your House in Order” on Sunday, March 19 from 12-4 p.m. in the Church Lounge. Light refreshments will be provided. TEXAS ROADHOUSE FUNDRAISER. Have dinner and help raise money for missions an non profits. On Tuesday, March 14 at the Chesterfield Texas Roadhouse on 23 Mile, 10% of your bill will be donated to Trinity’s Women’s League. Present a coupon or a phone picture of the coupon is all it takes. Coupons available at the Welcome Center or on the bulletin boards for a photo. See you for dinner anytime from 3-10 p.m. on March 14. There will also be a bake sale so you can get your dessert to go!

BLOOD DRIVE IN MARCH—Trinity will host a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Monday, March 20 from 1-7 p.m. in the Community Center.
