What’s Happening at Trinity—Sept. 26, 2021

E3 CONTINUES BE SURE TO RSVP—We’re so excited about the continued success of our E3 program. Thank you all for joining us this week. We hope it continues to be a blessing to you as well. Our weeknight evening experience, continues this Wednesday. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. We will have pulled pork, fries and a salad. Classes begin at 6:30 p.m. and run for an hour. There will be a nursery for small children, preschool Bible class, elementary Bible class, our middle/high school meet up and three adult studies: Being a Disciple of Jesus; The Book of Galatians; and Biblical Marriage (Marriage God’s Way). Be sure to register the number of people who will be eating with us Trinityct.org/E3.

THE ELEXIO APP CAN DO MORE THAN ATTENDANCE—Many of our school families are using the Elexio app to record their attendance. Some of our church members are using the Elexio app to give their offerings. The app is a link between you and the church. WEEKDAY BIBLE STUDIES AND CLASSES

LHN GRADE SCHOOL NIGHTS—Lutheran North has several events planned this school year for our grade school friends. We would love for you to join us on Sept. 29 for volleyball, Oct. 1 for the homecoming soccer and football games and Oct. 8 for football. CAMP RESTORE FUNDRAISER—A Night in the Garden of Eatin’, October 16, 4-6 pm – Camp Restore’s annual fundraiser provides a chance to see the work of Camp Restore, hear about the impact they’re having, and lend personal support if you choose. They’re hosting a hybrid event, where you can come to meet in their community gardens, meet community leaders, and take a tour of their campus, or do it all from the comfort of your home. LWML FALL FROLIC—The LWML Macomb South Zone Fall Frolic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. at All Nations Lutheran Church at 17343 15 Mile Road, in Clinton Township. with brunch. All women are invited to attend. It’s a morning of brunch food, fellowship and fun with women from other area churches. 

We will discuss the future plans for the LWML zone as well. Registration is $7, payable at the door. Registrations are not required, but to assist with the food preparation, contact Judy Baarck for tickets at 586-913-7118 or

TRINITY QUILTERS RESUMES—The Trinity Quilters for Lutheran World Relief will resume meet monthly on the third Tuesday. Upcoming meetings include Sept. 21 and Oct. 19. For more info, contact the Church Office at 586-463-2921.

KNITTERS MEETING AGAIN! — Trinity Purls knitting group meets on Thursdays at 7 p.m. in the Church Lounge! Join knitters and crocheters to create lap and prayer shawls for those in need. For information, contact Joan Lavey 586-791-5016.

SALVATION ARMY NEEDS HELP—The Salvation Army is allowing volunteers to cook in-person again beginning Oct. 12, at 9 a.m. We are looking for volunteers to help with this mission. Call Dennis Waligore at 586-551-5162 for more information.

HELP FAMILY OF GOD— Trinity provides meals for our mission, Family of God in Detroit, on the second Wednesday of each month. We need volunteers to provide a casserole/meal. PRESCHOOL OPENINGS-- Trinity's Early Childhood Center has openings in the traditional half-day three and four-year-old preschool program and in the FREE Great Start Readiness Program for this fall. This program is free to four-year-olds who qualify. Find out more at Trinity’s website at Trinityct.org/ECC.

PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT NEEDED—The Early Childhood Center is looking for a preschool assistant for the half-day preschool program. Hours are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. –11:45 a.m. This position is a school-year position with a school schedule (time off at Christmas, Spring Break, etc). KITCHEN HELP NEEDED—Trinity Early Childhood Center is seeking a food service assistant to portion and deliver food to the classrooms of little ones in the Early Childhood Center.
