WELCOME OUR NEWEST STEPHEN MINISTERS—Today Trinity commissions our newest Stephen Ministers: Jill Farrar, Renee Kment, Rick Luberacki and Melissa Rocker. Our Stephen Ministers go through extensive training to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who experience difficulties in their lives. TEXAS ROADHOUSE FOR DINNER THIS TUESDAY! This Tuesday, April 9, is the Women’s League fundraiser at the Chesterfield Texas Roadhouse (23 Mile Road) from 3-10 p.m. On that day, 10% of your meal cost (not drinks) will be donated to Women’s League. Show the server your coupon available at the Welcome Center, the Coffee Hour bottom counter or from a Women’s League member. Or take a picture of it and show it to the server. Plus there will be a bake sale with everything a $1. All money raised is given to various charities. 

HARP HOSTS COFFEE HOUR—Sunday, April 14, stop by the counter in the foyer and have a cup of coffee, a treat and talk with members of Trinity’s HARP team! Please bring NEW or USED items for “House in a Box” or find out more about what the HARP does and how you can help. A list of needed items is available need the Welcome Center. Just look for the house! We also have information about “Stuff the Truck” and the June 9-14 mission trip. We begin taking larger items for “Stuff the Truck” May 1. E3 CONTINUES WEDNESDAY —E3, our Wednesday evening gathering, continues this week and it’s not too late to get in on this session of class offerings. We have an adult Bible study called “The Rock, The Road and The Rabbi,” Life with Jesus for those pursuing membership at Trinity, a nursery, elementary school group, pre-teen group and middle/high school youth groups. PAPER HUGS MEETS APRIL 11—Paper Hugs makes handmade cards to be used by the ministries of Trinity. You don't need to have special skills or know-how. Many in our group never made a card before they worked with us. We meet once a month, generally on the first Thursday of the month. We work on an open house basis-- we start at 2 p.m. and work into the evening until we're done. Come when you're able and leave when you need to. THANK YOU—Thank you Trinity for the outpouring of love for our community. Because of your love and faithfulness to serve our neighbor, Trinity assisted more than 60 families with meals for Easter this year. We appreciate your help and support!

MEIJER SIMPLY GIVE IS BACK!—Trinity’s Food Pantry is getting a helping hand from Meijer! Now through June, purchase the specially-marked Simply Give donations cards from the check-out lines at the store on Groesbeck and those gift cards will be given to Trinity’s Food Pantry to help us purchase food and other eligible items. Meijer matches the gifts donated to Trinity. Trinity’s Double Day is Saturday, June 15. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY LUNCH—The Habitat for Humanity Women’s Lunch is April 11, at the Italian American Cultural Center on Romeo Plank from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The luncheon supports Macomb Habitat. COMPASSION PREGNANCY CENTER FUNRAISER—Compassion Pregnancy Center hosts its 29th annual fundraiser banquet on April 11. FAMILY OF GOD DINNERS-Trinity provides meals/casseroles for Family of God in Detroit once a month. Volunteers are needed to help donate a dish. IT’S TIME TO THINK ABOUT PRESCHOOL—Trinity's Early Childhood Center is now enrolling for the traditional half-day three and four-year-old preschool program and in the FREE Great Start Readiness Program for this fall. SUMMER CAMP VOLUNTEER COUNSELORS WANTED—6th-12th graders: Our summer camp has openings for Volunteer Counselors. The VCs assist the cabin leaders. CAMP COUNSELORS NEEDED—Summer Camp Counselors work in pairs with up to 20 children and a volunteer counselor assistant to lead kids through their days.
