Lindsay Zeig
Counselor
Lindsay Zeig is only available at St. Peter Macomb.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who practices cognitive behavior therapy and strength-based counseling, along with a variety of other approaches, based on the client’s individual needs. Life can be difficult sometimes, but there is always hope! I help clients to overcome difficult life situations in a supportive environment by focusing on your strengths, positive change, and solution-based thinking. As a compassionate counselor, I help clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, divorce, crisis, trauma, career and college, and other challenging life situations.
I have worked for Oakland University for 17 years teaching and counseling. Additionally, I work closely with adolescents as a school counselor. While I enjoy working with people of all ages, I specialize in children, adolescents, and young adults.
I have a love for education and am always eager to learn new ways to support my clients. I earned three degrees from Oakland University, including a master’s degree in counseling and a doctoral degree in education. I hold additional licenses as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a School Counselor License (SCL).
I have a wonderful husband and three beautiful children. We enjoy spending time outdoors bike-riding, playing soccer, and swimming. Additionally, I am an avid reader and enjoy reading historical fiction.
