David Brown
Counselor
David E. Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). He brings over 30 years of training and experience in the areas of couple counseling, marriage, relationship enrichment and divorce prevention. As an undergraduate, he attended Concordia, (Austin) Texas and graduated from Concordia, Chicago as a Director of Christian Education with an emphasis in youth ministry and adult/family education.
He attended and graduated from Illinois State University (Normal, Illinois) with a Masters in Counseling. In addition, he is a Certified Discernment Counselor; a Prepare-Enrich trained facilitator and trained in relationship education strategies from PREP (Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program) through the University of Denver. He is listed in the National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists, the national directory of Discernment Counselor, Focus on the Family Christian Counselor network, and Psychology Today.
