Archery, fishing, horeback riding, arts and crafts and campfires were on the agenda for Trinity's sixth graders at Michigan Christian Youth Camp Oct. 8-10 as the students participated in the annual outdoor ed experience.
Trinity sends sixth graders to outdoor ed toward the start of the school year annually. It's seen as an important component of the middle school years at Trinity. Students get to know each other better, work on team building and have fun together. The kids participated in leather working, learned about the nature around them and spent a lot of time fishing.
Trinity has been attending the Michigan Christian Youth Camp in Attica, Mich., for several years.
