What’s Happening at Trinity—April 27, 2025

SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE STUDY BEGINS TODAY—We begin a weekly Bible Study called ‘Stuff They Didn’t Teach Me in Sunday-School’ based on the Scripture readings for each week. Class is led by Pastor Keith and begins April 27 and runs each Sunday from 10:10-10:50 a.m. There is always more to the to the Lectionary readings than the sermon theme. We get behind the scenes of familiar Bible verses that sometimes make us wonder “why did Jesus say that?” “Why did God inspire the author to write that?” and “What is the story behind this verse?”

PASTOR GARY’S RETIREMENT TICKETS—On June 15, Father’s Day, we have one service at 10 a.m. This is Pastor Gary’s final worship service before he retires. Following the service, a celebration is from noon to 3 p.m. at the Italian American Cultural Center. Tickets are $25/adults, $15/ages 5-12 and children under 5 are free. Tickets will be sold after all services beginning May 3 until June 1. Trinity members Jim Chauvin, Debbie Montgomery and Kim Waller are organizing the celebration.

FAITH NIGHT AT JIMMY JOHN’S FIELD—Join Trinity on Faith Night at Jimmy John’s Field as the Westside Woolly Mammoths take on the Utica Unicorns on Friday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. Purchase tickets to the game and a portion goes to Trinity’s Restore the Roof campaign. Buy your grandstand tickets from https://shorturl.at/so8i1 or scan the QR code. Tickets are $25 and include the game, plus one hot dog, bag of chips and a soft drink or water. Before the game starts, players and other community members share their faith-based experiences. There will also be a pre-game prayer on the field. Kids run the bases and a fireworks show after the game.
