What’s Happening at Trinity—June 15, 2025

NO MONDAY EVENING SERVICES—There is no Monday service on June 16 or June 23. We invite you to worship on Sunday those weeks. Both Sundays have only one service at 10 a.m. June 15 is to recognize Pastor Gary’s retirement and June 22 to welcome new Senior Pastor Ben Burge.

PASTOR BURGE INSTALLATION CELEBRATION—Pastor Ben Burge’s installation at Trinity is Sunday, June 22. There is one service that day at 10 a.m. Afterward, Trinity marks his installation and welcomes the family with a celebration. In order to make sure we are prepared, go to Trinityct.org and click on Pastor Burge Celebration to enter the number of attendees. It's a simple form, just two blanks, and no money required. If you are unable to complete this process online, call the Church Office at 586-463-2921.

WELCOME THE BURGE FAMILY—We invite you to help make the Burge family’s transition smooth by contributing gift cards to local restaurants or establishments. These gifts provide them with opportunities to explore the area and enjoy a warm welcome from our church. A card box will be available at the celebration on June 22, where your gifts and/or words of welcome will show our love and support as he and his family settle into our church and community.

TICKET SALES END JUNE 18 FOR FAITH NIGHT AT JIMMY JOHN’S FIELD—Join Trinity on Faith Night at Jimmy John’s Field as the Westside Woolly Mammoths take on the Utica Unicorns on Friday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. Purchase tickets to the game and a portion goes to Trinity’s Restore the Roof campaign. Buy your grandstand tickets from https://shorturl.at/so8i1 or go to Trinityct.org. Tickets are $25 and include the game, plus one hot dog, bag of chips and a soft drink or water. Before the game starts, players and other community members share their faith-based experiences. There is a pre-game prayer on the field.
