What’s Going on at Trinity —June 21, 2026
CALL MEETING—Trinity's Associate Pastor Call Committee has been diligently working to find the man to serve in this capacity at Trinity. Recently, a candidate was brought on site and met with members of the ministry staff, Mission Council, and Elders. The candidate possesses the many qualities and qualifications that align with our position profile overview, and the results of those meetings have been positive. For these reasons, the Call Committee has recommended to the Mission Council that a congregation meeting be scheduled to vote on extending a Divine Call to this candidate to be our next Spiritual Formation Pastor. The Mission Council invites Trinity members to a Call Meeting on Sunday, June 28 at 10:15 a.m. in the Community Center. The single item on the agenda for this meeting is to present the candidate information to the congregation, discuss, and vote on extending a Divine Call to be Spiritual Formation Pastor at Trinity. Voters must be 18 years or older and a member of Trinity.

SERMON FOCUS—Roamin’ Through Matthew—A Father Who Prepares—In Matthew 10, Jesus speaks honestly to His disciples about the kind of world they will face. He does not hide the hardship, resistance, or cost of following Him. But like a loving Father, He prepares His children with truth, courage, and care. This week, we’ll reflect on the heart of servant leadership and the deep love of God, who does not send His people into the world unready or alone, but teaches them to trust His voice, fear Him above all else, and live with courage in His care. This week’s readings are Jeremiah 20:7-13, Romans 6:12-23 and Matthew 10:5a, 21-33.
SUNDAY EVENING YOUTH GROUP— Once a month, throughout the summer, students can join us to grow in God’s Word, develop and deepen friendship and make plans to live out their faith in the world around us. We will have discussions and activities and plenty of fun. To learn more, join the Group Me. The code is on the posters near the Youth Lounge.
