LENT MIDWEEK SERVICE— Throughout Lent, we offer midweek, midday services on Wednesdays at noon in the chapel. These short services help focus our minds on the sacrifice of Jesus to save us from our sins, purely through God’s grace.

NO E3 THIS WEEK—Due to spring break, E3 is canceled this week. Join us April 2, 9 and 16 as we wrap up E3 for the spring. Free dinner is served at 6 p.m. followed by the meetings at 6:30 p.m. There is something for everyone in the family. In addition to a nursery for the youngest attendees, there is also an elementary group, a preteen group (4th and 5th graders) and the middle and high school youth group. There are also two adults Bible studies for adults. For more information, call the Church Office at 586-463-2921.

BAPTISM CLASSES—Another Zoom baptism classes is coming up on Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. If you are interested in baptism for you or your child, visit Trinityct.org/baptism. SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE STUDY BEGINS APRIL 27—We begin a weekly Bible Study called ‘Stuff They Didn’t Teach Me in Sunday-School’ based on the Scripture readings for each Sunday. Class beginS at 10:10 and end at 10:50 a.m. There is always more to the to the Lectionary readings than the sermon theme. We will get behind the scenes of those familiar Bible verses that sometimes make us wonder ‘”why did Jesus say that?” “Why did God inspire the author to write that?” and “What is the story behind this verse?” Our class is named in honor of the late Rev. Bruce Wurdeman, former Executive Director of Lutheran Hour Ministries, who created a Bible study of the same name. Pastor Keith Lemley is pleased to lead the class, at the suggestion of Trinity’s Board of Elders.
