HOPE FOR HAITI COLLECTION—Hope for Haiti is collecting toiletries for a January trip to the area. Place items like full-size shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, aspirin, vitamins and more in the Hope for Hait box in the hallway between the Youth Lounge and the Nursery.

DISCOVERY MEETINGS—Trinity hosts two Discovery Meetings in the coming weeks for all interested in contributing to the three-year plan and vision for Trinity. The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 12 in the Community Center. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., followed by the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Please RSVP at Trinityct.org so there is enough food. This session coincides with E3 so children can attend the programs for their age group. The second meeting is Sunday, Nov. 16 between services in the Community Center. Children are invited to the nursery, Sunday school or Youth Group at that time.

VETERANS DAY CHAPEL—Trinity values the service and commitment of veterans. All veterans are invited to a special worship service on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. A reception follows the service. For more information, contact Lisa Riviera at or call 586-463-2921 ext. 111.

POINSETTIA SALES—Christmas poinsettia sales end Nov. 9. Cost is $16 per plant. Self-service forms are available in the foyer. For information, contact Kathy Conrad at 586-914-4512.

SURVIVING THE HOLIDAYS—Trinity hosts Surviving the Holidays, a special Grief Share program, on Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church Lounge. The event teaches coping tools for those grieving, as well as support and understanding to navigate the season. Register at griefshare.org/events/277616. There is a $10 fee for materials. PIE SALES BENEFIT ECC—The Early Childhood Center’s annual Achatz Pie Sales is underway! Instead of purchasing coupons for products, the fundraiser is for gift cards in various amounts. To make a purchase, pick up an order form from the Welcome Center or contact the Early Childhood Center at 586-463-8803 or email Orders must be submitted and paid for by Nov. 7. Gift cards arrive by Nov. 17.

BAPTISM CLASS SCHEDULED—Trinity has baptism classes scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. At Trinity, all those hoping to be baptized or have a child baptized must attend a baptism class to discuss the Lutheran understanding of baptism. MONDAY NIGHT LADIES BIBLE STUDY meets Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the Church Loung. “God of Deliverance” by Jen Wilkin explores Exodus 1—8, the stories of Moses, and his call to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY—Meet to enjoy God's Word every Tuesday morning 9:30-10:45 a.m. Led by Mary Hartman and Lila Tirsell. Meets in the Church Lounge.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY continues on Wednesdays from 6-7 a.m. in the Church Lounge. “Questions Jesus Asks” focuses on specific questions Jesus asked in the Gospels and still asks us today. Come join over twenty Christian brothers for Bible study, conversation, and spiritual growth. Study guides and coffee provided.

E3 CONTINUES—E3, our Wednesday evening gatherings, continue on Wednesdays. Participate in a pastor-led study to further discuss the message shared on the previous Sunday. The youth group, a children’s program and the nursery are also available. Programming begins at 6:30 p.m.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY—Women’s Bible study meets Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. in the Church Lounge. The group is using “Acts: The Spread of the Gospel” by John MacArthur. For more information, contact study leader Linda Gawinski at 586-431-1147.

CANNING JARS NEEDED—Women's League is collecting pint and quart canning jars to use when we assemble the soup and chili mixes that we sell during our December "Bake Sale and SO MUCH MORE" fundraiser. BETHLEHEM BREAKFAST - Ladies mark your calendar now for the Bethlehem Breakfast on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Italian American Cultural Society banquet facility. Consider who to invite to hear the Christmas Gospel proclaimed. Consider buying a table for 10! Tickets are available in the church office and sold in the foyer on Nov. 9, 16, and 23 at a cost of $25. Theme this year, “Jesus, the Divine Interruption,” focuses on inviting Jesus to interrupt Christmas preparations and celebrations with His presence, just as he did for Mary and Joseph and all. FOOD PANTRY NEEDS NON-FOOD ITEMS—Trinity’s Food Pantry is staying stocked thanks to donations and the Meijer Simply Give cards. However, those cards can only be used to purchase food. The pantry is in need of toiletry items like soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and brushes, deodorant, dish soap and laundry detergent. MACOMB HABITAT FOR HUMANITY GALA—This year’s gala features a tribute to Dave Tirsell. The gala is Friday, Nov. 21, 6-10 p.m. at Zucarro’s in Chesterfield. Tickets are $150 each. HOPE FOR HAITI—Save the date for a Hope for Haiti Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 16 from 12:30-3 p.m. at Trinity. This event will raise money to help feed those living in the ravaged country of Haiti and to transport donations to Haiti during the next trip in January. SCHOOL DINNER DANCE—The 8th grade hosts its annual Dinner Dance Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 at the Italian American Cultural Society to support the class’ spring trip to New York City. Find an 8th grader, or contact Rachel Nyboer in the school office at or call 586-468-8511.

8th GRADE BAKE SALE—Next Sunday, Nov, 9 the 8th grade class hosts a bake sale in between services. Cookies, pies, breads and more will be for sale in the Foyer. All proceeds go towards the May trip to New York City.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PROPS—The school Christmas program is coming up and the cast is in need of several props. Need items are a toy rocking horse, 5 Christmas mugs, dollhouse, Christmas garland, selfie stick, jester hat, adult small or medium dinosaur onesie (not inflatable), red, silver and plum floor-length ballgowns all sizes 2 or 4 or adult small. THANKSGIVING BASKETS—Trinity provides Thanksgiving baskets to 100 needy families from Macomb County. Those who would like to shop for items needed for the basket can pick up a list from the Welcome Center.

LHN THEATRE PRESENTS MARY POPPINS--Several Trinity alum and even current students are in the production of Mary Poppins at LHN on Nov. 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $10 plus a surcharge. It is open seating. Enter through the main atrium door.
