BAPTISM CLASSES—Pastor Jeremy has several Zoom and in-person classes scheduled for the coming weeks. If you are interested in baptism for you or your child, visit Trinityct.org/baptism. PRESCHOOL OPENINGS-- Trinity's Early Childhood Center has openings in the traditional half-day three and four-year-old preschool program and in the FREE Great Start Readiness Program for this fall. CURRENT PREACHING SERIES—HEART CONDITION. What’s in your heart? We’ll focus on what the Bible says about matters of the heart. The series runs through October.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH—Ms. Elizabeth continues Children’s Church during the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday mornings. The kids leave the sanctuary as a group before the sermon and head to the Church Lounge for a special message designed just for them. They return after the sermon. PARENTS OF SMALL CHILDREN—The church nursery is available during Sunday morning church services. The nursery is for children three and under who need care during our worship services. The nursery is free to use and is staffed by trained childcare providers. It is located through the back of the church foyer and to the left of courtyard.
WE HAVE YOUR WEDNESDAY EVENINGS PLANNED—E3, our Wednesday evening gathering and activities for all ages, continues through the fall! Free pizza is served at 6 p.m. followed by the meet ups at 6:30 p.m. There is something for everyone in the family. We have Life with Jesus, our new member class; “God Heard Their Cry,” a Bible study led by Steve and Sharon Meseke; senior high and junior high youth groups, a spot for preteens, a class for kindergarten through grade 3 and a nursery for our youngest attendees. 2023 CONFIRMANDS—The first confirmation retreat is Sunday, Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. in the Youth Lounge. This three-part series prepares the students for the Rite of Confirmation on Oct. 29. Trinity provides meals/casseroles for Family of God in Detroit on the second Wednesday of every month and we need volunteers to provide a casserole/meal once a month. FOOD SERVICE HELP WANTED—The Early Childhood Center is looking for a part-time food service staff member. Trinity is a licensed, Christ-centered, award-winning center that operates year-round. We partner with Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to ensure children get well-balanced meals while in care. You would be responsible for portioning and delivering lunch and two snacks daily along with food service utensils to 8 classrooms. This includes measuring, sorting, staying organized, and washing in an automated dishwasher. The position hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.– 12:15 p.m. Full time options are available.
