Last day of school brings fun activities

June 10, 2021

The last day of school was June 10. While the students had a full day of school, there was plenty of activity to keep them busy.

The day started out with free bagels. At 9:15 a.m., the students and teachers gathered in the sanctuary for the first and last time this year as a complete student body. We haven't had all nine classrooms in the church together yet this school year. After worship, which was led by Pastor Ken, awards were handed out in a variety of categories.

At the conclusion of the award presentations, the students went back to their classrooms for lunch and other activities until it was time for field day. A group of parents were tirelessly to create fun and safe games for all of the students. There was an obstacle course, egg race, pool noodle toss, water balloons and even tug of war. The school was also visited by the Kona Ice truck for a cool treat to cap off the hot afternoon.

Below, we have many pictures from the last day. While we couldn't have parents and other family members here with us, we tried to capture many of the special moments for you.
