On Monday, July 13 after the Monday evening church service, Giabella Batkins, a Trinity college student, hosted a pop up called Flour Power.
Flour Power is a game in which students attempt to gather ping pong balls without being hit by a "flour" sack. The "flour" is a cornstartch mixture died in colors that gives the game a new element of fun.
Kids and adults played Flour Power on the field for about an hour after church.
Summer always goes faster than we think. Before long, the backpacks come back out, routines return, and another summer becomes a memory. Slow Down Summer is a new way for the Trinity family to enjoy simple summer moments together through casual pop-up gatherings all season long.
We have plenty of ideas, but we are in need of hosts. Hosts need to be present throughout the event and serve as a representative of the church. Have an idea or want to host an event? Contact Rebecca Thomas at 586-463-2921 ext. 103 or email .
Our next pop-up event
- Wednesday, Aug. 12, Take us out to the (soft)ball game as TCT1 and TCT2, Trinity's two women's softball teams go head-to-head on the field at Trinity. Bring your signs and pompoms to cheer on your favorite Trinity team!
