Top playgrounds from Trinity moms

May 13, 2022

May 14 marks Take Your Parent to the Playground Day! In order to get the scoop on the top parks in the area, we went to Trinity's MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSnext (for parents of school-aged children) for their recommendations.

Who are the playground experts?

When it comes to finding the coolest places to play with young children, we knew our Trinity MOPS/MOMSnext moms would know where to go. They live, work and play in the area and connect with their friends, neighbors, family and other moms as they strive to find the best experiences for their kids.

MOPS/MOMSnext are part of the international organization, MOPS. It is designed to help moms with local groups of women that provide caring atmosphere and support to mothers of young children. Trinity's group meets together, shares a light breakfast and often features a speaker, a craft and plenty of time to socialize. MOPS typically meets on the first, third and fifth (when applicable) Wednesday of each month during the school year from 9-11 a.m. in the Church Lounge. Throughout the sumer, there are playground playdates and social events for moms.

The last MOPS meeting of the school year is Wednesday, May 25 at 9 a.m. in the Church Lounge. Regular meetings will resume in September. To connect with MOPS, show up for the meeting or email
