Our Christmas Eve services begin at 4 p.m. (for families), 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. (candlelight services). Christmas Day is at 10 a.m. These services are busier than typical Saturday and Sunday services, so arrive a few minutes earlier - 15-20 minutes should give you plenty of time. If you have a spare minute, stop by the Welcome Center for a newsletter or other information
You can park in front of the building, along Harper, or you can enter the rear parking lot off of Farmcrest, just north of Trinity. Either way, there are doors to the church foyer. The parking lot located off Farmcrest has designated handicapped parking as well as an easily accessible entrance. We do our best to keep both parking areas clear of snow and ice.
Our traditional worshipers usually dress more conservatively, while our contemporary worshippers might wear jeans. Feel free to wear your Christmas best, or dress as you are comfortable.
Our Christmas Day worship service includes Holy Communion. Holy Communion is for those who have been confirmed in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. If you are interested in being confirmed, contact the Church Office at 586-463-2921 or church@trinityct.org.
Christmas Eve has a variety of service options. Our 4 p.m. service is designed for families, especially those with younger children. The 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. services are traditional and include the organ, a symphony and candlelight aspects. The Christmas Day worship is traditional as well, with organ and Holy Communion.
For those with hearing impairments, you may ask an usher for a “hearing assistance” device. Songs and liturgy are projected onto large screens for easier viewing. For those with physical disabilities, there is an handicapped accessible entrance and bathroom near the handicapped parking. The handicapped parking is in the back of the building. Enter off of Farmcrest.
