Trinity Announce for June 8, 2025

June 05, 2025

What’s Happening at Trinity—June 8, 2025

FINAL SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE STUDY WITH PASTOR KEITH—Today is Pastor Keith’s final “Stuff They Didn’t Teach Me in Sunday-School” Bible study. It is today from 10:10-10:50 a.m. in the Church Lounge. There is always more to the Lectionary readings than the sermon theme. We get behind the scenes of familiar Bible verses that sometimes make us wonder “why did Jesus say that?” “Why did God inspire the author to write that?” and “What is the story behind this verse?”

SIMPLY GIVE DOUBLE DAYS—From now to June 28, Trinity’s Food Pantry is getting a helping hand from Meijer! Shop the Clinton Township Meijer and purchase a $10 Simply Give gift card from the register and Trinity’s food pantry receives the $10 plus a match from Meijer that we can use on food and other eligible items. Saturday, June 14, it is Double Match Day. For every $10 card purchased, Meijer contributes $20, bringing the total to $30 for the pantry! For more information, call the Church Office at 586-463-2921.

PASTOR BURGE INSTALLATION CELEBRATION—Pastor Ben Burge will be installed at Trinity on Sunday, June 22. There is one service that day at 10 a.m. Following that service, Trinity marks his installation and welcomes the family with a celebration. In order to make sure we are prepared for everyone, go to Trinityct.org and click on Pastor Burge Celebration to enter the number of attendees. It's a simple form, just two blanks, and no money required. If you are unable to complete this process online, call the Church Office at 586-463-2921 and register your attendance with the office staff.

WELCOME THE BURGE FAMILY—We invite you to help make Pastor Ben Burge’s transition smooth by contributing gift cards to local restaurants or establishments. These thoughtful gifts will provide them with opportunities to explore the area and enjoy a warm welcome from our church. A card box will be available at the celebration on June 22, where your gifts and/or words of welcome will show our love and support as he and his family settle into our church and community. Thank you for your generosity.
