BAKE SALE (AND SO MUCH MORE) FUNDRAISER– The Women’s League’s is in the foyer selling items remaining from the Bake Sale yesterday. There are cookies, baked goods, soup and chili mixes, jams and more. Stop by and stock up on treats for Christmas parties. Remember, the plates of Christmas cookies can be frozen until needed or given as hostess gifts. All proceeds will be used to support missions and local nonprofits.

MCREST HELP—MCREST has many needs this year, take a look at the big board located in the foyer to see if you can help. There are spots to fill in hospitality, making dinner and lunches and more. This is a great way for families to serve the community together! For more information, contact this year’s coordinator Katie Bielman at or call the Church Office at 586-463-2921.

CHRISTMAS FOOD BASKET UPDATE—During the holiday months, the need for emergency assistance to local families tends to increase. It is with the support of members of Trinity Lutheran Church, through food donations, that we are able to distribute approximately 100 food baskets to fight hunger during the Christmas season. This year, we are asking for donations from the congregation for to support these baskets, which are above and beyond the daily assistance we provide through our food pantry. We need:

  • Ham
  • Stove Top Stuffing
  • Canned Yams/Sweet Potatoes
  • Corn and Green Beans
  • Mashed/Scalloped Potatoes
  • Mac and Cheese
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Dinner Rolls and Butter
  • Gravy
  • Frozen Pies

Items can be dropped off to the Church Office, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. before Dec. 18.
