SERMON FOCUS—Learning to Lament— What do we do when what we know about God doesn’t seem to match what we are experiencing? Psalm 22 gives voice to that painful tension, teaching us that faith does not ignore confusion, sorrow, or unanswered questions. This week, we’ll explore how lament is not the opposite of faith, but one of the ways faith speaks when life feels disorienting. In the midst of suffering and silence, God invites us to bring our honest cries into His presence and learn to trust Him there.

MEN’S GROUP LAUNCHING—We are excited to launch Iron Men, a opportunity for connection and encouragement among the men of our church, school, and ECC community. Inspired by Proverbs 27:17—“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”—this ministry is focused on helping men grow as husbands, fathers, leaders, and brothers in Christ through fellowship, conversation, and service. Our first monthly gathering takes place Wednesday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Kuhnenn's Brewer. Before attending, watch a short sermon (scan the QR code) by Joby Martin to spark discussion, though the evening will primarily focus on fellowship and building friendships. When men encourage one another and stay rooted in Christ, it strengthens our families, our church, and our community. Reach out to Principal Mark Brown for more information at
