PURCHASE A POINSETTIA—Poinsettia sales are underway. The plants help decorate our sanctuary for Christmas. They are $15 each. We will again have a self-serve table in the foyer. MITE BOX REMINDER—Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month and a time for all individual Mite Box users to empty their boxes into the big Mite Box in the foyer. All your donated coins add up and provide great mission work through the Lutheran Women’s Mission League.
FROM MISSION COUNCIL: Per Mission Council Policy B7, Mission Council is calling for a Congregational Assembly on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 10:15 a.m. We need to vote on renewing Pastor Gary’s term as Acting Senior Pastor for a period of one year or until the office is filled by a regularly called Senior Pastor if that occurs prior to one year, but in case not to exceed one for this approval. The agenda includes:

ADVENT ACTIVITIES
ADVENT SERMON SERIES-Our next sermon series takes us through Advent and into Epiphany. Advent is a season of anticipation—but also a season of past and future colliding with the present. We will focus on all aspects with the series titled, “Hope is on the Way.”
ADVENT CROSSTALK DEVOTIONS BEGIN DEC. 4—Our week-day Crosstalk audio devotions begin Dec. 4. These short devotions are sent directly into your email each day if you have signed up for them. BLUE CHRISTMAS—Blue Christmas is intended for those who have experienced a significant loss in their life, whether it be a loved one, job, home or hope, and are seeking the comfort of Immanuel, God with Us. Anyone is welcome. If you know someone who could benefit from this service, invite them. SOUP AND SING—Come sing Christmas songs around our Christmas tree and join your Trinity family for a soup dinner. This event is free and begins at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6 in the Church Foyer.
SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM—On Wednesday, Dec. 13, Trinity school student present, “Wrapping all the way.” They will share the message of Christmas through their singing, acting and more at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

WELLSPRING MEETING—Wellspring Lutheran Services Auxiliary meets on Nov. 28 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 21400 S. Nunneley, Clinton Twp. At this meeting we are collecting gift cards for Christmas Caring. We are looking for Visa gift cards, department store/grocery store/gas station gift cards. The major stores are preferred – Meijer, Walmart, Kroger, Target, etc. All dollar amounts are welcomed. A lunch is served at noon by the ladies of St. Luke.

CAMP RESTORE DETROIT FUNDRAISER - Camp Restore Detroit Fundraiser - Plan on tuning in for this weeklong “look at your own pace” fundraiser featuring videos, impact stories, and an online auction that will include fleece blankets tied by a group of Trinity women and a beautiful quilt worth over $200 made by a supporter in Omaha. FEED THOSE IN NEED-Trinity provides meals/casseroles for Family of God in Detroit on the second Wednesday of every month and we need volunteers to help. DINNER DANCE TICKETS ON SALE NOVEMBER 28! The 8th grade class parents will sell tickets for the annual dinner dance fundraiser beginning after Thanksgiving. The event is Feb. 24 at the Italian American Cultural Center. Tickets are $65 each and include dinner, dancing, and an open bar. Bring some extra cash for all the fun games and drawings! FOOD SERVICE HELP WANTED—The Early Childhood Center is looking for a part-time food service staff member. This positions is responsible for portioning and delivering lunch and two snacks daily along with food service utensils to 8 classrooms.
