ADVENT ACTIVITIES
This week, we begin the Advent season. There are plenty of activities coming up to help you focus your attention on Jesus as we lead up to Christmas. Several are listed below. You can also check trinityct.org/Christmas for our evolving list of events and service times.
ADVENT CROSSTALK DEVOTIONS BEGIN NOV. 29—Our week-day Crosstalk audio devotions begin next Monday. These 5 minute devotions are sent directly into your email inbox each day if you have signed up for them. BETHLEHEM BREAKFAST AVAILABLE ONLINE—The Bethlehem Breakfast will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 9 a.m. While in-person tickets are sold out, you can still join in through livestream. The theme is "WATCH for CHRIST in CHRISTMAS" Join us for music, scripture and an uplifting Christmas message. Tune in from Trinity’s website at trinityct.online.church/.
BLUE CHRISTMAS—Blue Christmas is intended for those who have experienced a significant loss in their life, whether it be a loved one, job, home or hope, and are seeking the comfort of Immanuel, God with Us. Anyone is welcome. If you know someone who could benefit from this service, invite them. ADVENT SERMON SERIES—“Come, Lord Jesus” - As we look toward Advent and Christmas, the sermon series will focus on the Gospels listed below.

MIDWEEK ADVENT WORSHIP-Mid-Week Advent services will be held at noon in the chapel on Wednesday Dec. 1, 8 and 15. These brief services provide another opportunity to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus during the Advent season.
E3 RESUMES THIS WEEK—E3 resumes this Wednesday, Dec. 1 and will also run Dec. 8 before taking a break until Wednesday, Jan. 12 If you plan to attend on Dec. 1 and have dinner with us at 6 p.m., you can RSVP at Trinityct.org/E3. If you don’t need dinner, there is no need to RSVP, we will see you at 6:30 p.m.
YOUTH MEETINGS—Our youth will gather again together this Wednesday, Dec. 1, 8 and 15 before pausing for the holidays. Bring your outdoor chair for our time around the bonfire.

>ENGAGE GOD’S PEOPLE
SUPPORT THE WOMEN’S LEAGUE TODAY—After a huge success at the Trinity Craft/Vendor show last week, the Women’s League still has more items to sell. In addition to having a few items left from the show, the Women’s League is also making more of the soup and chili mixes and jams that sold out. Stop by the table in the foyer after both services today so see what you might purchase. Remember, all of the proceeds are donated to Trinity’s missions and non-profits.
PAPER HUGS MEETS DEC. 2—The next meeting of Paper Hugs is Thursday, Dec. 2 from 1:30-8 p.m. in the Church Lounge. Come when you can and leave when you must. No experience necessary. Bring a snack! For more information, call the Church Office at 586-463-2921.

TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAM returns for another season! Trinity offers a chance to play and engage in friendly competition with other churches through Michigan Lutheran Youth Athletics. Games are on weekends with one to two practices a week . We hope to begin practices soon with opening games the first week in January. Games are played at Immanuel, TCT, and St John Fraser. For more info, contact Jay Guzman at or 586-744-3962.

MCREST IS COMING—MCREST is our congregation’s opportunity to extend Christ’s love to homeless men, women and children as we provide shelter, food, and more. Our MCREST dates from Dec. 19-26. MANY VOLUNTEERS are needed. The Big Board and Giving Tree is in the foyer. Check it out and pray about how God can use you to be a blessing.
COATS TO DONATE? Have a gently worn winter coat and/or winter weight blanket that you don't currently need? Peace Lutheran on East Warren in Detroit has a small clothing ministry and food pantry and could use them this winter. Call Joanne at 901-857-0921 if you'd like to contribute these items.

ELEMENTARY STUDENTS INVITED TO LHN—Lutheran North invites kindergarten through second graders to join art teacher Mrs. Wilson and some LHN student to create Christmas ornaments and learn more about LHN.
