NEW SERMON SERIES—In a world that constantly pushes us to move on to something new, Paul’s words to Timothy are a call to hold fast: “Continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed.” (2 Timothy 3:14) The faith we carry isn’t something we invent—it’s something passed down, received, and lived out. We’ll explore what it means to remain rooted in the Word and to let that faith, which once dwelled in others, now dwell deeply in us. Continuing in the faith isn’t about standing still—it’s about being formed, equipped, and sustained by the same truth that has carried God’s people through every generation. Upcoming readings include:

  • † Oct. 19 — 2 Timothy 3:10-17
  • † Oct. 26 — 2 Timothy 4:6-8, 16-18

BAPTISM CLASS SCHEDULED—Pastor Jeremy has two upcoming baptism classes schedule. At Trinity, all those hoping to be baptized or have a child baptized must attend a baptism class to discuss the Lutheran understanding of baptism. Two upcoming baptism classes are available for those interested.

  • † Tuesday, Oct. 28, 3:30 p.m.—This class is primarily designed for school parents. The class is roughly an hour and students will be supervised by teachers during that time so there is no need to find childcare. Meet in the Coffee Oasis.
  • † Wednesday, Nov. 5, 6:30 p.m.—This class will be held during E3. Children can attend youth group, children’s ministry or go to the nursery during that time.

To sign up for either class, go to Trinityct.org/baptism. For more information, contact the Church Office at
