SERMON SERIES—Roamin’ Through Matthew—Forgiveness is at the heart of the Christian faith. But that does not mean it is easy. In Matthew 18, Jesus tells a story that brings us face-to-face with the overwhelming mercy we have received and the costly mercy we are called to give. This weekend, we’ll discover how the forgiveness of Jesus is experienced in the present—and realized as His mercy moves through us into the lives of others. This week’s readings are Genesis 50:15-21, Romans 14:1-12 and Matthew 18:21-35.

NEW LADIES MONDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY begins Monday, Sept. 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Church Lounge. We will study GOD OF FREEDOM by Jen Wilkin, which covers Exodus 19 to 40 (Mt Sinai/10 Commandments/golden calf/tabernacle). If you have questions or to reserve a book, contact Bonnie Young by cell or text at 586-350-3222.

WEDNESDAY MORNING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY—A Wednesday morning women’s Bible study begins this Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 11:30 a.m. in the Church Lounge. The group will focus on Romans from the book, “Romans: A 12-Week Study” by Jared C. Wilson. Led by Linda Gawinski. For information, call 586-431-1147.

TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY—The Tuesday morning Bible study meets to enjoy God's Word each week from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in the Church Lounge. Led by Mary Hartman and Lila Tirsell.

We are also looking for lunch sponsors. If your group or business would like to provide lunch for attendees, contact Lisa Riviera at  .

WOMEN’S LEAGUE meets Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church Lounge. If you’ve ever been curious about the group, this is the perfect (planning) meeting to visit! (NO commitment to join.) For more information, contant Debbie Graham-Large at 313-318-6513.

IRON MEN is an opportunity for connection and encouragement among the men of our church, school, and ECC community.
