RED LETTER CHALLENGE—Trinity begins the 40-day Red Letter Challenge today. It's a deep-dive into living out the words and teachings of Jesus. The Red Letter Challenge has daily activities, reflections and readings focusing on Being (with Jesus), Forgiving (both receiving and giving), Serving (follow Jesus' example), Giving (generosity), Going (share your faith with others). There are several ways to get involved with it. First, each Sunday, the sermon will be focused on the week’s theme. Also, our E3 groups and Tuesday (ladies) and Wednesday morning (men) Bible studies will center on the Red Letter Challenge. If you plan to participate, sign your name on our bulletin board, pick up a copy of the book (one per household please) and follow us on Facebook.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH—Ms. Elizabeth continues Children’s Church during the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday mornings. The kids will leave the sanctuary as a group before the sermon and head to the Church Lounge for a special message designed just for them. They return after the sermon.
PARENTS OF SMALL CHILDREN—The church nursery is available during Sunday morning church services. The nursery is for children three and under, is free to use and staffed by trained childcare providers. It is located through the back of the church foyer and to the left of courtyard.

WOMEN’S LEAGUE NEEDS YOU….IF you’re a woman 50+ yrs. old, enjoy making new Trinity friends, are thankful for God’s blessings in your life, and want to share God’s love with those less fortunate. We need YOU because we’ve lost numerous older members over the last several years and can’t continue to raise and donate the same amount of funds and gifts ($13,181 – year ending 6/24) with a declining membership. We meet on the third Tuesday of the month, September-June, typically 6:30-8 p.m. Three of our 10 meetings are “celebrations!” This is NOT a “stuffy” group. Concerned you might end up sitting alone? You won’t be. Tables are intentionally equally filled. Interested? Please stop by our first meeting of the WL year on Tues, Sept. 17. (Even if you’re not 50 yet!) For more information, contact Debbie Graham-Large at 313-318-6513
WOMEN’S LEAGUE MEETING Tuesday, September 17, 6:30 p.m., Church Lounge. For more information, contact Debbie Graham-Large at 313-318-6513.

GROUNDWORK GUATEMALA CAN UPDATE—Ongoing thanks to everyone, who brings cans and bottles for Groundwork Guatemala! As of the end of August, $759 has been raised this year. So, what are we doing with the money we raise? We are using it to pay schooling costs for children in the Groundwork program. This year, we are using it to sponsor 10th grade High School student Yefri L., who is majoring in auto mechanics. We are also using it to sponsor elementary students Allison R. (1st grade) and Emerson C. (4th grade). Separate Impact Mission funds also are used to support Oscar Tokay and Julian Perez, two Groundwork missionaries whom we have supported for several years. We will have pictures and additional information on these students and missionaries at the Coffee Corner soon Please keep those cans and bottles coming! Do please note, rejected cans and bottles left at processing places in Meijer and Kroger (etc.) generally can't be redeemed (or are very difficult timewise to try and figure out where they might be redeemed). it is best to leave them where they are.
MEIJER SIMPLY GIVE—From now until Sept. 24, pick up one of the Simply Give cards at the register at the Meijer on Groesbeck. Scan them when you pay. They can be purchased in $10 increments. For every card purchased, Meijer donates $10, meaning $10 earns Trinity $20. For information, call 586-463-2921.
FAMILY OF GOD DINNERS—Trinity provides meals to Family of God in Detroit once a month. Volunteers are needed to donate a dish. If you’d like to contribute financially, leave a donation in the Church Office or Venmo Cathy Essig (@CLEssig). To schedule a dish donation, call Karen Langreet at 586-445-2460.
