Resources for Advent

As we enter the sacred season of Advent, we invite you to join us in a meaningful journey of reflection, anticipation, and connection. To support you in this season of preparation, Trinity Lutheran Church has created a special Advent book shaped by our Advent sermon series and the themes woven throughout our daily Crosstalk audio devotions. This resource is designed for individuals and families of all ages to use as we wait together for the coming of our Savior.

Inside, you will find daily Scripture readings, space to write your thoughts and prayers, weekly questions to help you go deeper into each theme, and family discussion prompts for those with younger children. We’ve also included songs, recipes, coloring sheets, and other activities to help everyone—from the youngest to the oldest—engage with the story of Advent in a meaningful way. Each week, we invite families to stop by the church to pick up a Family Activity Kit. These simple, hands-on projects give children and parents an opportunity to create, learn, and reflect together on the theme of the week. Our hope is that these moments help anchor your family’s Advent celebrations and create lasting memories rooted in Christ.

"The King is Coming," Advent workbook is available from the Welcome Center beginning Nov. 29. Trinity is making these books available for a free-will donation. Those who are able are encouraged to give any amount to support the production of the material. Those who cannot are still invited to take a workbook. For transparency sake, these book cost Trinity approximately $8 each in production costs. The workbook is also availble for download to print from home or use on an electronic device.
