School Age Childcare
Before and After School Care
Childcare is available for school-agers (kindergarten through 8th grade) each day from 6:30 a.m. to the start of school and from the end of school until 6 p.m. in our School Age Childcare (SAC) classroom. We also provide care on school days off, school half days, snow days, breaks and summer.
We offer a recreational program. Children check in after school and receive a snack. After snack, they go outdoors or to our mini-gym for some active play. Upon return to the classroom, we offer homework assistance to those who need it in another quiet classroom. Children who do not need homework assistance can choose from many fun activities, including arts and crafts, games, cooking and other unique educational offerings.
Special activities are planned for 1/2 days or school days off. In the summer we provide a day camp, including outdoor and gym play, classroom games and arts and crafts, regular cooking and science activities. Visit our Summer Programs page for more information.
We keep our adult/child ratio at 1:15. Fees are hourly, paying only for the hours that your child attends. The cost during the school year is $4.60 per hour. There is a maximum daily charge of $34 and maximum weekly charge of $150. If your child is in attendance for the whole day, a morning snack, hot lunch and an afternoon snack are also included.
